First topic message reminder :

Name: Savannah Parodox
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Creature: Fairy
Race: Earth
Allegiance: Good
Origins:  Magic User
Powers: Shape-shifting & Sound.
Spells: (Suggestions for the damage and such)

Formulated Sound Blasts: 1. The user of this ability can create blasts of sound that can take the form of any creature the size of a horse or object that they can imagine and make their blast seem like it's alive if they want, but it takes more concentration and thus cant do other spells; Low. (Last 30-45 seconds)

Ear-Piercing Scream: User screams and deals sonic damage and dazes target; Low. (Last 10 seconds)

Sonic Combustion: The user can cause objects to explode by expanding sound waves within an object or being, increasing the amounts of pressure on the sound waves until they burst open, at first the user can effect objects the size of a computer; Medium. (Can be used at least 3 times before cool-down of 10min)

Sound Ball Projection: The user can create spheres of sound, these spheres can be projected, used as a part of melee attacks by pushing them back and distorting them if used at the ears, ways of transportation, and with practice the user can have up to four spheres orbit around them forming a defense barrier. The more increased size, the far more destructive potential than usual and the more power used due to how big it is for it covers more 'land';Medium (Last 1min)

Sound Beam Emission: Users can emit beams of sound that are capable of destroying anything within their path with a concussive force. They are also able to control the frequency and intensity of the blast in order to increase its already destructive power; Low-Medium. (1min per blast 5000kg of rock into dust)
--User can release beams of pure solidified energy that causes concussive damage, with effects ranging from slight push, hard hit, knock-out, minor and major damage, shattering and up to total annihilation of the target. Users may even learn to control the movements of their beams such as making often them go in straight lines, curve, twist, turn, bend, as well as follow and lock onto targets to really long-range with proficient accuracy and marksmanship but weakens towards softer and more flexible materials.

Sonic Vortex Creation: The user can generate spirals/vortexes composed of sound forces sucking people, creatures, and objects. The vortex can be projected as a long ranged attack or as a tornado of sound for both offensive and/or defensive purposes within an area of 20-30ft radius; Medium. (Last 3min. Cool down of 30min.)

Music bullets: The user forms her hands into a gun and fires in short sequence over a wide area. User can manipulate and shape sound bullets and acts like a bullet but doesn't pierce, defining; Medium. (Can only do for 1min)

Sonic Wave Emission: User can release waves, spirals, rings, pulse, blasts, balls, and bursts of sound and use them to damage depending how much force is used, can push away up to 10ft, and paralyze certain body parts of people. They are able to send sound through any form of matter creating ruptures; High. (Last as a sort blast that goes away after hitting a person or object.)

Appearance: Short-red to blue swept-back hair, Arusha tri-color Tanzanite eyes, and a heart-shaped face with a thin mouth; she has lithe hourglass body and sloped broad shoulders. She usually wears a red button up with the top two buttons undone over it a grey silk dress vest, white dress gloves, and blue bell-bottoms.

Fairy Form Clothes: A brown leather crop-top that curves under her breast to her back, off shoulder boat neck shirt that folds over at the top and fringe out with suede flare fringe pants, and a pair of wings. Each top wing has a cicada-like design and is 14in tall and 1ft wide butterfly top-like wings and a leaf-like bottom half with a wasp-like design. (no shoes) And a necklace with a blue shard.

She has a blood red band tattoo with plod drippings connecting to it and a two blue curve lines tattoo with a blue dot next to the bottom line under her left eye. And two native eagle feathers tucked behind her ear.

History: Born November 30th to a Dog-groomer Stefania and a wizard father, who never told he was a wizard who mysteriously disappeared when Savannah was a toddler, although her parents divorced when she was born her father would send her gifts from around the magic dimension although she never knew it was magical as it only activated when Savannah unlocked her powers.
She grew up with her mother and grandmother, great-grandparents, her cousin and his grandparents. Playing many instruments alone she would play games. She learned many dance styles, and played a few sports, but loved to read. Savannah was a very excited child learning many dances and a little, although advanced, gymnast. She also played the flute, and later on other instruments, she was also very smart taking in many things but sociability. When she was 10 years-old her father stopped sending things and she went through a personality change by became indifferent and a bit lazy.

When Savannah was 16 she discovered something at the old house her Great-Aunt gave to her mother, when she disappeared, and found out she was a fairy! She found out through a message that her father left her, that her mother’s father’s side of the family was stripped of their magic and killed, no one knew they died because their memories were altered. The next day a Package was sent with some items and an envelope on top to Alfea, from the headmistress herself! So she went, with some 'company'.

Personality: Introvert, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging, Assertive.

With a natural thirst for knowledge, given the title of “bookworm” as a child. Proud of it, greatly enjoying her broad and deep body of knowledge. She enjoy sharing what she knows as well, confident in her mastery of their chosen subjects, she prefers to design and execute a brilliant plan within her field rather than share opinions on “uninteresting” distractions like gossip. Savannah is simultaneously the most starry-eyed idealist and the bitterest of cynics.

At times it will seem that she is bent on deconstructing and rebuilding every idea and system she comes into contact with, employing a sense of perfectionism and even morality to this work. Anyone who doesn’t have the talent to keep up with her processes, or worse yet, doesn’t see the point of it, is likely to immediately and permanently lose her respect.

Not impulsive, Savannah will strive to remain rational no matter how attractive the end goal may be. This mechanism is applied at all times, to all things and all people, and this is often where she will run into trouble.

Savannah is brilliant and confident in bodies of knowledge she has taken the time to understand, but unfortunately the social contract is unlikely to be one of those subjects. White lies and small talk are hard enough as it is for a type that craves truth and depth, but Savannah may go so far as to see many social conventions as downright stupid. Ironically, it is often best for her to remain where she is comfortable – out of the spotlight – where the natural confidence prevalent in Savannah as she works with the familiar can serve as its own beacon, attracting people, romantically or otherwise, of similar temperament and interests.

Savannah has tendency to move through life as though it were a giant chess board, pieces constantly shifting with consideration and intelligence, always assessing new tactics, strategies and contingency plans, constantly outmaneuvering her peers in order to maintain control of a situation while maximizing her freedom to move about. This isn’t meant to suggest that she will act without conscience, Savannah's distaste for acting on emotion can make it seem that way.

Strengths: (You asked you got-5/20 for moderators)

Quick, Imaginative and Strategic Mind: Savannah prided herself on her mind, taking every opportunity to improve her knowledge, and this shows in the strength and flexibility of her strategic thinking. Insatiably curious and always up for an intellectual challenge, Savannah can see things from many perspectives. Savannah uses her creativity and imagination for artistry, planning contingencies, and courses of action for all possible scenarios.

-High Self-Confidence: Savannah trusts her rationalism above all else, so when she comes to a conclusion, she has no reason to doubt her findings. This creates an honest, direct style of communication that isn't held back by perceived social roles or expectations. When Savannah’s right, she's right, and no amount of politicking or hand-holding is going to change that fact – whether it's correcting a person, a process, or herself, she'd have it no other way.

-Independent and Decisive: This creativity, logic and confidence come together to form Savannah’s ‘stand on her own and take responsibility for her own actions’ personality. Authority figures do not impress her, nor do social conventions or tradition, and no matter how popular something is, if she has a better idea, Savannah will stand against anyone she have to in a bid to have it changed. Either an idea is the most rational or it's wrong, and Savannah will apply this to her arguments as well as her own behavior, staying calm and detached from these sometimes emotionally charged conflicts. Savannah will only be swayed by those who follow suit.

-Hard-working and determined: If something piques her interest, Savannah can be astonishingly dedicated to her work, putting in long hours and intense effort to see an idea through. Savannah is incredibly efficient, and if tasks meet the criteria of furthering a goal, she will find a way to consolidate and accomplish those tasks. However, this drive for efficiency can also lead to a sort of elaborate laziness, wherein Savannah find ways to bypass seeming redundancies which don't seem to require a great deal of thought.

-Open-minded: All this rationalism leads to a very intellectually receptive personality type, as Savannah can stay open to new ideas, supported by logic, even if (and sometimes especially if) one can prove Savannah's previous conceptions wrong. When presented with unfamiliar territory, such as alternate lifestyles, Savannah tends to apply her receptiveness and independence, and aversion to rules and traditions, to these new ideas as well, resulting in fairly liberal social senses.

-Jacks-of-all-Trades: Savannah' open-mindedness, determination, independence, confidence and strategic abilities create individuals who are capable of doing anything she set her minds to wherever that finds her interest. Excelling at analyzing anything life throws her way. Savannah tends to have her pick of professions, from forensic anthropologist to political masterminds.

Weakness:

-Arrogant: Savannah is perfectly capable of carrying her confidence too far, falsely believing that she resolved all the pertinent issues of a matter and closing herself off to the opinions of those she believe to be intellectually inferior. Combined with her irreverence for social conventions, Savannah can be brutally insensitive in making her opinions of others all too clear depending weather or not they have a use to her.

-Judgmental: Savannah tends to have complete confidence in her thought process, because rational arguments are almost by definition correct – at least in theory. In practice, emotional considerations and history are hugely influential, and a weak point for Savannah.

-Overly analytical: A recurring theme with Savannah is her analytical prowess, but this strength can fall painfully short where logic doesn't rule – such as with human relationships. When her critical minds and sometimes neurotic level of perfectionism (often the case with Turbulent Savannah, where she’s self-conscious and sensitive to stress. She experiences a wide range of emotions and tends to be success-driven, perfectionist and eager to improve. She is also more willing to change jobs if she feels stuck in their current one and to spend time thinking about the direction in which her life is going.) are applied to other people, all but the steadiest of friends will likely need to make some distance, too often permanently.

-Loathe highly structured environments: Blindly following precedents and rules without understanding them is distasteful to Savannah, and she disdain even more authority figures who blindly uphold those laws and rules without understanding her intent. Anyone who prefers the status quo for its own sake, or who values stability and safety over self-determination, is likely to clash with Savannah. Whether it's the law of the land or simple social convention, this aversion applies equally, often making life more difficult than it needs to be.

-Clueless in romance: This antipathy to rules and tendency to over-analyze and be judgmental, even arrogant, all adds up to Savannah’s often clueless in dating. Having a new relationship last long enough for Savannah to apply the full force of her analysis on her potential partner's thought processes and behaviors can be challenging. Trying harder in the ways that Savannah knows best can only make things worse, and it's unfortunately common for her to simply give up the search. Ironically, this is when she's at her best, and most likely to attract a partner.

Can you explain the jack of all trades strengths in simple terms? I just feel like it's a conglomeration of the other strengths and may set her up to be a sue like character if one isn't careful.

nope, but please do not avoid my question. Even if this is based on your personality, this character has to separate. I don't want to be a pill on this strength, but I have to be. This entire strength just feels like its could lead to suing, so could you tone it down in some way?

What I didn't actually take the test. And I don't get how it can sue it's not like she's a god she makes mistakes, after all she's still human. (although if you read Greek mythology the gods/goddess are worse then humans)

This jack of all trades thing is set up to the point where she deals with anything thrown at her or do anything. There doesn't seem to be any struggle at all when it comes to this kind of thing. Thus why I say this could lead to suing, because if one isn't careful you could fall down this path with it. Just a too good to be true deal.

READ IT that's not what it means. AND keep in mind this is based on everyday people are you saying these people are Sues? 'cause that's a little rude and a bit biased. These are personality TRAITS not the person themselves, that's not set in stone or the way they think. She feels insecurity, she fails, she makes mistakes, but that's where she learns ans that's the Jack of all trades and everything else for you.

Can you please keep a calm tone and not get worked up. I did read the strength and the entire thing is just too much and leads to the character being too perfect, so can you please find a way to dial it back so its not as extreme as it is. I am doing the best I can to help balance the character out, but if you do not want me to help you just say the word. I'd also like to point out a that personality traits make up who people are.

Sorry I was watching something on Youtube. I'm not sure how to 'tone it down' as you say but I believe that even if it makes the person who they are it's not how they think and I believed that was what you were insinuating.

Considering its a strength, take away a few components like being able to reverse engineer methodology of most any system. While its an example, it would be one way to balance out the strength so its not so extreme. You have to understand, strengths are supposed to be different from personality, it what gives a person an advantage over what others can do. The jack of all trades strengths gives the character a larger advantage that could lead to her being sue if its not balanced correctly.

Spells
General:
Some of your spells have way too many possible outcomes/usages to be considered a single spell. Also the flexible power level of the spells (however interesting the concept is) isn’t something we can allow in the RP.

Formulated sound blast:
Set a maximum size for the image that’s formed (Something along the lines of a horse, given it’s just a low level spell). Make it so that your character cannot cast any other spells as long as she wants to retain the illusion lively (She has to concentrate on it and channel magic to keep it going). Give the spell a capped duration. (30-45 seconds) And lastly, lose the option for damage since that’d mean it’s two spells in one which, especially given the first component would make this spell badly overloaded for a low level spell.

Sonic combustion:
This spell is very unclear as to what exactly the effects are. From what I could make out of it, it infuses a catastrophic amount of sonic energy in a solid object to shatter it, sending shrapnel flying in every direction and pummeling the poor victims caught inside the blast zone. Write it more clearly and state the area of effect in which the blast does damage (20-30ft radius). I don’t understand how the charge mechanic works (how can it be cast three times?) This spell needs to be clarified a lot.

Sound Ball Projection:
This spell is way overloaded along with the flexible spell power level which is as mentioned above unacceptable. The spheres you mentioned which are of elemental nature are also a no-go as the shapeshifting power clearly states that you only gain access to non-elemental spells (Sonic excluded since that’s a part of your innate ability).
-Fix the size and amount of orbs to make the spell have a non-flexible level.
-Describe what happens if someone is struck with the thing
-When absorbing a blow, be it magical or physical, does the orb discharge or remain?
-Duration (1 minute recommended)
-Level: Medium (Depending on how many orbs you have, how big they are and how much damage they deal upon striking a target. Future evaluation will take place regarding power balance after initial edits)

Sound Beam Emission:
Again flexible spell level that has to be fixed. Usually (if we’re going to involve physics and some manner of realism) only solids are affected, the more brittle the substance the more destruction the sonic waves can incur. (Soft and flexible materials tend to absorb the force of soundwaves rather well.) Having said this, narrowing the spells effectiveness does allow you to heighten the magnitude of the spell. Being able to destroy substantial amounts of nonliving solid materials. (I’m sorry, but we won’t let you disintegrate someone’s entire skeleton with just one spell since that’s something solid, rigid and somewhat brittle as well.)
-Set a volume of matter a single blast can destroy. (1m3 per blast would be acceptable. To put that into perspective, you’d be able to change roughly 5000kg of rock into dust)
-Make it less effective on softer and more flexible materials.
-Lose the ‘affecting surrounding area’ component since that’d make for a different spell entirely.
-Level: Medium (Depending on how much

Sonic Vortex Creation:
What’s the effect the tornado has upon hitting its designated target, what is the area of effect and is there any difference in its effect whether used offensively or defensively? Please specify the exact effect(s) your spell has.
-Set an area of effect (20-30ft radius)
-Explain what it’s supposed to do, all we can do from your description is make a guess as to what it does, which might differ vastly from what you have in mind.

Music bullets:
Please disambiguate what the different options are and what the effects are from the different outcomes. (Given you keep each separate effect along the lines of a low level spell, three different outcomes might be acceptable.)

Sonic wave emission:
This spell is overloaded, even for a high level spell. Paralyze is about the strongest form of crowd control there is shy for actually making someone unconscious. It renders the target completely helpless to whatever follows. Only the fact this spell can paralyze merits the spell being high level, and then there are four more possible things this spell can do. Lose all the other components if you want to keep the paralyze effect, or dull it down.
-Give durations to your effects
-How much is a target knocked back (distance)
-How much damage does your spell do. (Use adjectives like “a little damage, a lot of damage, a fair amount of damage, etc. at least so we have an indication.
-Don’t let the spell pass through matter and keep the harmful components, it can damage solid rock and stuff in much the same way as your other spell more specialized at dealing with matter, but cover is an essential part of tactics and with this your spell is impossible to dodge except perhaps dashing/swift teleportation spells or something along those lines. Revise this.
